I know some people don't collect special edition bottles, but I would love to have one of the UK 161st  Birthday Bottles.  Make me just a little sad :(

Sip On A Jack O'Lantern

Halloween is right around the corner and pumpkins are on our mind! What better way to celebrate our pumpkin craze than by sipping a drink with a jack o'lantern at The Empire Hotel's Lobby Bar. What the bar has created is a signature cocktail made up of a wicked amount of whiskey, absinthe, orange bitters, and sugar cubes, sweetening up your drink just like Halloween candy!

SIP ON A JACK O'LANTERN INGREDIENTS:

-2 ounces Jack Daniels

-2 Cubes of sugar

-2 Dashes of orange bitters

-1/2 Ounce of Lucid Absinthe

PREPARATION:

-Coat inner glass with absinthe and pour out

-Add Jack Daniels, orange bitters, sugar and ice.

-Shake well and strain over more ice.

Jack Daniels Toast The Troops Bracelet

Just won this off Ebay.  Gotta say I love it.  It's a silicone bracelet the words"Jack Daniels" and "Toast The Troops" stamped in it.  There are "USO' label printed on it, along with "Old No. 7".  On the inside is "www.jackdaniels.com" printed on it.  Also got a postcard that you could mail to someone in the military.  Not very happy the seler did not put it in an envelope that would not bend so easy.  The card got kind of wrinkled, but it's still very nice!
